Subsidised Childcare Places Available-Hurry!

Are you in receipt of a medical card or a Department of Social Protection payment? If so you may be entitled to subsidised childcare.

The Community Childcare Subvention Programme is a subsidy scheme through which parents can access childcare places at community childcare facilities at a reduced cost. Eligibility is based on parents’ circumstances and if they are in receipt of a social welfare payment/medical card.

The childcare service receives a subsidy under this scheme which means that they can offer the childcare place at a reduced cost to parents.

You could get as much as €95 per week off your childcare bill! Please contact us for further information or go to www.dcya.gov.ie.

Welcome to Teach na nOige, Liscarroll Community Childcare Facility

On September 5th, 2011, Teach na nOige-Liscarroll Community Childcare Facility opened its doors to the children of the local communities.  It is our aim to meet the childcare needs of families in our community, whether that be full or part time day care, sessional pre-school or school age childcare. Our state of the art facility caters for children from 6 months right up to 12 years of age. Our convenient location in the village of Liscarroll makes us easily accessible for families from the surrounding areas, and we currently have children from Liscarroll, Churchtown, Freemount, Milford, Kanturk, Johns Bridge, Kilbrin & Lisgriffin.  Our early opening time facilitates parents who are travelling to work in either Cork or Limerick.
